then I am here to tell you that you are not alone. In fact there are many
people that are going through the same frustrations right now.

I was for many years until I finally discovered for myself the easiest way to not only lose weight and keep it off; I also discovered a way that I can Eat whatever I want, whenever I want it, without having to starve myself, or deprive myself or feel guilty about eating.
 
When I say this to people the comments I usually get is, "You must be
one of the lucky ones" or "Yeah I tried that but it doesn't work for me"
or "You must be very disciplined" or "You must have a high metabolism" or some reason or another to not find out how to do this.
 
Now let me tell you, my so called 'metabolism' has always been
slow, as I was told by the experts, so I have to 'be careful' on what I
eat, sound familiar? So this lead me to start the crazy 'Diet Run' to
attempt to get in control of my weight, also sound familiar?
 
When it came to food, being disciplined in what I ate was very difficult
for me. I felt like I was "missing out" on something by depriving myself of tasty food, however I was told that I needed to go through that and it was a normal thing.

So I can tell you when it comes to food "No, I am not one of the disciplined ones".

Have you ever deprived yourself so much of a food you really loved that you ended up eating saying "I have had it", and just ate as much as you could of it, that it made you sick, promising yourself that you would never do that again, only to find yourself doing that all over again? Well, welcome to my world.
 
I was never good at 'Will Power'
 
There you are in the pantry looking at your favourite food, trying
hard to 'Will' yourself to not eat it, only to find that the urge gets
bigger and bigger, has that ever happened to you?

Or you go passed a bakery, where they are baking fresh bread and the
urge to have that bread in unbearable, although you feel guilty
to buy it, because you shouldn't have those carbs.

I tell you, this type of strategy was so painful to me, that I just could not do it. The stress of using 'will power' was worse to my health than the food that I wanted was. How's that for a double edge sword.

It is All In The Food!

What I Find Interesting is that we are told that we can get real results with FAKE FOOD. I mean are they for real?

Did you know that when your body doesn't recognise what you put in your mouth it sees it as a toxin? Your body will do its best to eliminate it or more than likely it will store it in FAT for protection!

In other words many diets can actually leave your body toxic and your body is actually protecting itself from what you are putting in your mouth!!

To put it simply, real food gives you real results and Fake Food gives you Fake Results.

Now Lets Talk Cravings

Do you really know where your cravings are coming from? No its not because you are taking the wrong supplements or because the stars haven't lined up. Purely and simply your body is not getting the right foods and not getting enough of them either.

This might sound weird but most of the time we are not eating enough food and we are starving our bodies! When the body starves it craves and also gets into a starvation mode where it will become protective and stop fat loss!!

There is another reason we crave, and this is extremely important! Many of us have conditioned food as an emotional crutch. So we have actually formed an emotional relationship with food instead of using it as a nutritional source.

How many times I have devoured a box of chocolate biscuits after feeling a bit low. Then I felt a nice feeling for a bit, then felt guilty and promised to never do it again, well not until the next time anyway.

So to get in control I had to identify what was going on. By the way this doesnt work just with food, but also the bad habits we have devloped over time.
I have never found a diet
that I could stick to!
 
I almost gave up with my eating program until I said this is the
'diet of all diets' you know the one, where they tell you
'don't look at it as a diet, look at it as a lifestyle'.

So I said to myself, this is it, I am teaching myself that this is my new
way of life. I am sure you have been there. So I did. I was diligent, everyday I would measure my food, to the gram, making sure that I got all my calories and I ate 6 times a day with everything I had, This time nothing was going to stop me. I even had a 'Massive Goal', because that's what I was told to have to make it work. So I did, I decided to get up on the 'Body Building Stage'. This was an event where you get ripped and you show the amazing efforts you have put into the gym. I was pumped. I was excited. I had a massive goal,
I had to lose 30kg to do it, and I only had 6 months to do it.
 
I tell you now, that this was one of the toughest things I had
to do in my life. And it was tough. I could only think of one
thing, and that was the goal. What I would look like on stage.
I would exercise, 3-4 hours a day, eat 6-7 times a day, and
was hungry 100% of the time. I was always hungry. It was
incredibly tough. There were days that I thought I would
not make it but I kept focusing on the goal.
 
So I made it through and lost 30kgs. The thing was that as
soon as I got the goal, I ate like I had 100 empty stomachs.
I could not get in control. I felt so deprived. My body was
craving everything I could not have. Lets say it didn't take long
for me to put on almost 20kg until my hunger began to settle down.
For me this simply was not on.
 
Finally! A way I could 'Quit the Diet'
and have the the Body I wanted!
 
Although I went through a torturous event to lose 30kgs fast,
I learnt many things. I actually learnt what true hunger felt
like. I thought I knew before hand what it was like to feel
hungry, until I went through this experience.
 
I learnt to find out the differences between true hunger
and a conditioned emotional response to food. I also found
out ways to eliminate these responses and 'Tap' into my bodies
hunger zone. Eating as much as I wanted whenever I wanted it.

What You Must NEVER EVER DO!

Now this is where it becomes interesting. Many people, as soon as they find some new information, will go to their friends and family to ask for their advice about starting something new.

You must never ever ever let anybody stop you from doing something that you want to do. I know when I started on my so called "crazy eating program" I had all sorts of people coming up with their own distorted version of how to eat, even the so called "Experts".

The crazy thing is, I was getting results. Not just in the way
I was looking with my body shape, also my skin, my attitude,
the way I felt inside. I actually felt "clean" on the inside.
Who would have thought that eating a lot of
good tasting clean food would change the way I felt?

So do you think I listened to those around me who were just coming up with crazy theories, or do you think I stuck to eating a way that I could finally enjoy good food and live a life full of energy? You bet. I kept eating this way and still am to this day!
